In the summer of 2012, Brittany spent about a month in Ireland. She participated in the plein air festival 'Art In the Open' in Wexford. There, her work was in an exhibition at Greenacres Gallery. After the festival she also traveled to Dublin, Athlone, Galway, the Aran Islands, Sligo and Lifford to continue painting.
